About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Branch Coordinator to join our team at PT Citrabuana Indoloka associated with Intertek in Medan, North Sumatra. As our Branch Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our local branch, supporting cargo and marine survey. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating and overseeing all administrative and operational activities at the local branch
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely delivery of freight/cargo
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to shipments, inventory, and customer accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and analysis to support decision-making processes
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns promptly
• Collaborating with the broader team to identify and implement process improvements
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

What we’re looking for

• At least diploma or higher degree in Marine Academy, Naval Architect, Engineer or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operation of Agri/ Cargo/ Marine/ Petroleum Survey
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sale or marketing or business developer
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using relevant software and IT systems, including Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of freight/cargo forwarding processes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the business
