We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Barback to contribute to the seamless operation of our prestigious establishment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment alongside top professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the bartenders by ensuring a fully stocked and organized bar area at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of garnishes, glassware, and ingredients to facilitate efficient cocktail service.
  • Retrieve and restock spirits, mixers, and other supplies as needed during service hours.
  • Clean and maintain bar equipment, glassware, and utensils, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the bar team to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to an engaging and vibrant atmosphere.
  • Handle glassware efficiently, ensuring proper cleaning, polishing, and storage.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area for opening and closing procedures.
  • Uphold the bar’s aesthetic presentation and overall ambiance, ensuring it aligns with the venue’s prestigious reputation.
  • Support bartenders during busy periods by assisting with the preparation of drinks and fulfilling customer requests.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Barback, preferably in an upscale cocktail bar or fine dining environment.
  • Enthusiasm for the art of cocktail making and a genuine interest in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting.
  • Physical stamina to handle lifting, carrying, and transporting heavy items, including kegs and cases.
  • Flexibility to work during evening hours, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the bar’s operating schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the bar team.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
  • Knowledge of bar equipment, glassware, and general bar operations is a plus.
