We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for our customers by crafting and serving delicious coffee beverages. In addition to the common responsibilities of a Barista, you will also be involved in managing daily changing shifts. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and drip coffee.
• Ensure consistent quality in every cup by following the established recipes and beverage standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders, handle payments, and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, equipment, and seating area.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Manage daily changing shifts effectively, working in collaboration with another barista to cover all scheduled shifts.
• Adapt quickly to changes in work schedule and maintain open communication with the team regarding availability and shift changes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Assist in restocking supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and placing orders as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge and passion for coffee and espresso beverages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work changing shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
