 Responsibility 1 – Automation

•  Assists production, IT and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related
• Maintain a database of all equipment programs and passwords
• Upgrade PLC programs for new hardware installation/ modification
• Upgrade equipment to improve maintenance repair time
• Optimize Robot programs/ Teaching to improve processes
• Rewrite equipment programs for line balancing per the Production and Industrial Engineers
• Integrate new technology to improve processes (cameras, sensors, etc.)
• Integrate production tracking systems to assist production in data collection
• Assist program team in the install and signoff of new processes and equipment
• Maintain POKA-YOKE system in production line
• Any assignments by superiors

Responsibility 2 – IT System

• Implement Corporate and Division IT standards and recommendations
• Lead or contribute to IT/IS projects on his site, coming from Corporate / Division or local
• Deploy and support locally managed IS solutions (Division solutions or local solutions validated by Division)
• Manage the information security risk assessment and treatment plan. Manage and report information Security incidents
• Organize the following activities:

1. Manage Information System Projects for the site
2. Help Desk response and customer service Information Technology asset reporting – workstation identification, installation, inventory, maintenance and local lease projects management
3. Database and server maintenance and management
4. Plant Network and PES management and maintenance 
5. Monitor and maintain plant shipping system(s) 
6. Monitor and maintain plant timekeeping and telephone systems

Personal Background

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronic) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years or more demonstrated engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with designing, programming & troubleshooting PLC, HMI & robotic, network

Job Technical skills

• Knowledge of PLC:- Siemens S7
• Knowledge of Network Protocols (Profibus, Profinet)
• Knowledge of Robot programming (ABB or FANUC)
• Knowledge HMI Screen design, Tagging, Interconnections
• Experience with Ethernet/IP and other industrial network
• Experience with vision systems and data collection technologies (RFID, barcode readers, printer)
• Industrial network/ Infrastructure
• OS-window, Basic necessary software,
• Basic cyber security system
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
