We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in the mining sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on a range of heavy mining equipment and vehicles. This role requires strong technical knowledge of OEM systems (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Sandvik) and the ability to work safely in remote or site-based environments. 

 
Qualifications (Essential):

• Fluency in English – both written and verbal communication
• Electrical License – Essential
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30320) – (Mandatory Trade Qualification)
• Valid Driver’s Licence – Essential
• First Aid Certification – Essential for Auto/HV Electricians

Experience & Requirements:

• 10+ years relevant post-trade experience in the mining sector
• Proven experience with OEM brands (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Sandvik)
• Skilled in performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a wide range of mobile plant equipment
• Minimum 8 years mine site experience in a mobile maintenance environment
• Outstanding troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Prior experience in component change-outs, fault finding, and breakdown response
• Strong understanding of mine site safety procedures and hazard identification
• Physically fit and capable of working in extreme environments
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Flexibility to participate in shutdown works
