The Role

The Audio Visual Specialist’s duties at SVP include but are not limited to:

• Follow our brand guidelines to build/ review/ enhance our school website.
• Work with the marketing team, and other content and multimedia creators, and social media specialists to create inspiring videos for our brand to drive leads for the school
• Create various videos for each department as required in:
•  Video production process (pre-production, production, post production)
•  Animation
• Presentations
• Visual displays
• Work with stakeholders in other departments (strategy, product, sales, education team) to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Create videos for the website, social media, video and other digital/motion mediums; creates SVP publications.
• Collaborate on projects from idea inception to delivery in order to elevate the profile of the SVP and, improve the student experience, drive engagement and increase enrollment.
• Participates regularly as a creative member of the Marketing Team and works seamlessly with all Marcom staff
• Identify and execute on emerging trends in video production
• Transition smoothly between projects and the various departments and their needs
• Develop and monitors production schedules

Marketing Department

•  Assist with large projects, events, and community management
• Work as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns
• Produce videos for all internal monitors in collaboration with the educational leaders
• Manage the graphics for the notice boards in the parent waiting area.
• Support the Director in the production of the monthly parenting vlog.
• Where required, supports the Admissions team.

Sound

• Meeting with Event PIC to discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements.
• Altering venue arrangements according to layout diagrams.
• Arranging with GA regarding the laying of electrical and sound cables.
• Supervising the setting up and installing microphones, lights, video monitors, projectors, speakers, and video cameras.
• Conducting sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment.
• Inspecting mountings and electrical equipment to ensure they conform to health and safety regulations.
• Operating sound and visual equipment during live events.
• Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring events run smoothly.
• Maintaining strong customer relations.
• Supervising the disassembling audio and visual equipment and packing up after the event

• Be a digital native, immersed in the online world.
• Understand the Social Media tools and apps
• Understands and competent in design tools
• Strong communicator and creative thinker
• Understand current Online marketing trends
• Contribute to their professional development and seek to improve those skills which will be drawn upon in the fulfillment of their role.
• Willing to meet deadlines even if this entails work outside the normal schedule
• A team-oriented, can-do approach
• Must be able to multitask in a very fast paced environment with the proven ability to meet or exceed project deadlines
• Proactive and goal orientated.
