About the role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Technician Die Casting to join our dynamic team at PT Dynacast Indonesia (Batam) in Batam, Kepulauan Riau. As an Assistant Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the die casting production process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our equipment and machinery. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting the Lead Technician in the operation and maintenance of die casting machines and related equipment

  • Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on die casting machines and related equipment

  • Monitoring and maintaining production data, including quality control records and job documentation

  • Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

  • Ensuring the work area is clean, organised, and compliant with safety protocols

  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

What we’re looking for

  • Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

  • 1-2 years of experience in a die casting or molding or similar production environment

  • Proficient in the use measuring equipment (Caliper, Micrometer)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
