About the role

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager/Translator to join their team in Silangit, Sumatera Utara. This contract role will play a vital part in the successful delivery of complex construction projects, providing strategic and operational support to the Project Manager.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project coordination and execution

  • Support the translation english to indonesia to the local vendor , owner or local worker

  • Support for procurement of office equipment and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination

  • Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or translator in a similar construction/project management role

  • Fluent in English both oral and written (able to speak chinese is a plus)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in microsoft office

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with construction regulations and safety best practices

  • Willing to work at the project site in Silangit, Sumatra Utara with roster system 5 months and 2 weeks

  • Willing to join ASAP
