Initiate, design, develop, test, monitor, refine and implement new or improved products/processes/packages/applications and select, fine-tune and prepare new developments for hand-over to an operational environment, in line with the R&D and/or business strategy, in order to enable FrieslandCampina to use/commercialize new products/processes/packages/applications.

• Bachelor graduate from food technology/chemical engineering from reputable university (with GPA min. 3.5 is a must), Master Degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years working experiences in dairy/nutrition industry as research development or process development with strong specialization in formulation.
• Have a good understanding in ingredient interaction, BPOM regulation, dairy material&processing.
• Good communication skill, not only able to adapt with the new environment but also collaborate with cross functions stakeholders.
• Pragmatic and agile to cope well with changes and is a real go-getter.
• Hands-on mentality.

• Development experiments: Set up, plan, execute and analyses experiments, and report results into account possible risk, in line with test set up and strategy of the R&D and/business department.
• Upscaling: Upscale and implement new product application in operational environment, according to all applicable guidelines.
• Innovation: Identify new commercial product inside and outside own organization, generate new opportunities, based on insights and creativity, share these with professionals, translate these into opportunities for own area/domain and create new product innovations, in cooperation with others and in line with business requirements.
• Value engineering: Assess, improve and refine existing product application.
• Intellectual property: File patents to protect own developments on time, where possible and necessary, not breaching IP right of others.

• Project: Set up, plan and execute project in own area, within the project management guidelines  and the R&D and/or business strategy.

You will be a part of our R&DTeam in the Head Office to contribute on FrieslandCampina nourishing by nature purpose, reporting directly to the R&D Manager of Consumer Dairy.
