About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Engineer Technical Support to join our team at PT Dynacast Indonesia (Batam) in Batam Kota, Kepulauan Riau. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to our engineering department.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various electrical and electronic systems and equipment

  • Assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and electronic components

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all technical support activities

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical support processes

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Electrical/Electronics Engineering industry

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Engineer or in a similar technical support role

  • Educational background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Proficient in using technical tools and equipment

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
