As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing business development and manage an existing portfolio of accounts in the territory. As a part of Sales team, you will be based in Semarang and collaborate cross-functionally between departments locally. Main activities and responsibilities:

• Identify target companies for business development initiatives.
• Develop written sales business plans with strategies for obtaining orders and programs for existing customers; this includes annual activity, sales targets, and performance KPIs.
• Contribute to implementation of the group strategy and development of the local business plan for Semarang as well as for Surabaya area.
• Ensure a high order intake with targeted margin by implementing the defined sales plan.
• Perform day-to-day tasks of conducting sales visits, quotation presentations along with Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) updates, forecasting.
• Identify and visit each office and key contacts on a regular basis.

Key competences:

• Experience with packaging equipment and processes, including filling, cartooning, case packing, palletizing, over wrapping, bagging, and conveyors.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills.
• Results-driven, solution-minded approach.
• Proven ability in developing multi-level contacts with customers and building strong customer relationships.
• Proven ability in designing and implementing a multi-channel approach to the market.
• Ability to set own schedule and demonstrate effective time management and follow-up techniques.
• Execution of strategic business initiatives.

Basic requirements:

• 5+ years of successful experience in a sales role in a related industry such as conveyors, automation, robotics, logistics solutions, food production equipment, packaging machinery, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other professional development is a plus.
• Independent and willingness to travel.
