Mission

You will define the air piping business growth plan together with the Marketing Manager and schedule visits and actions for the existing and new potential customers. You will help to identify new potential business areas and ensure long term relationships as well as develop new indirect channels, i.e. EPC, installation companies, etc.

Your customer visit reports, market analysis, and accurate market information will support management’s development of business strategy.

You might ensure we focus on our customer’s needs and that we provide the equipment and services to support them.

Activities:

Business Development (80%):

1.     Support to the Service Sales Engineers and distributors where they have presence to develop customer satisfaction by understanding his needs and expectations.

2.     Build strategic alliances with channels and integrators.

3.     Develop and implement regional sales plans and strategies to increase sales volume and expand the customer base.

4.     Develop technical solutions and prepare quotations for assigned customers.

5.     Keep building relationships and networking with key players of the industry.

6.     Prepare related business development reports and conduct/present relevant market analysis.

7.     Review business development strategies on a regular basis and recommend modifications and enhancements that will secure sales goals in line with growth targets.

8.     Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.

9.     Maintain effective lines of communication with the Marketing & Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager as well as the other people who support the administrative process.

11.  Perform market analysis, follow market trends, and regularly inform sales teams to maintain trendsetter position, supply feed-back to the product management groups in headquarter.

12.  Conduct competitor analysis, build and maintain process for competitor evaluation.

13.  Enhance division, company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.

14.  Control expenses, while maximizing Company’s assets, time, skills, and profit levels Job

Personal Development (10%):

  • Auto development – Maintain his/her sales and marketing knowledge, strategies and skills up to date by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations.

Reporting (10%):

  • Prepare and analyze dedicated activity reports, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget.
  • Report on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and competition developments and performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant industrial sales experience, preferably in the compressed air industry.
  • Education – Engineering, business or marketing degree. Advanced degree is a plus.

Skills

  • Must be a proven leader with experience in B2B and compressed air equipment with a record of constantly delivering results.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in pipes and pipe installations selling.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have proven business analysis skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel as well as C4C management system.
  • Travel required
