We are expanding our capabilities and are looking for talented individuals to join our newly 
established Data Science team. This team will play a key role in developing state-of-the-art AI and 
machine learning solutions for a diverse range of projects, from Deep Learning to building Large
Language Models (LLMs) from scratch. Join us as we lead the way in digital transformation and

Position Overview:
As an AI Engineer at Agatos Software, you will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying
cutting-edge AI solutions. You will work across a range of exciting and challenging projects that will
require expertise in both classical machine learning and modern AI techniques, including neural
networks, deep learning, and natural language processing. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to develop AI models that drive automation, optimize processes, and bring innovation to factories and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy AI models to solve real-world industrial problems, focusing
automation, optimisation, and process improvement.
• Work on diverse machine learning tasks, ranging from supervised and unsupervised learning to
complex tasks like deep learning and natural language processing (NLP).
• Build, fine-tune, and optimise Large Language Models (LLMS) to meet specific client
requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, and domain experts, to
deliver integrated AI solutions.
• Apply deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch) to build neural networks and deep
learning architecture for predictive analytics and process automation.
• Develop pipelines for data processing, feature extraction, and model evaluation, ensuring
scalable, stable, and efficient AI deployment.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments in AI and machine learning,
proposing new ideas and approaches to improve current practices.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems deployed in production.
• Evaluate and fine-tune model performance using metrics such as accuracy, F1 score, precision,
recall, and model interpretability.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to define AI-driven strategies that align with Agatos’
overall goals.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science,
or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus. 
• Strong proficiency in machine learning algorithms, data structures, and model development
techniques. 
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
• Experience building and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and working with NLP
models such as GPT, BERT, LLama2 or similar architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
techniques.
• Experience working with regulations and proprietary information.
• Solid understanding of optimization techniques, including regularization, hyperparameter
tuning, and model interpretability.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment and scalability of
models. 

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in applying AI in industrial automation, robotics, and/or manufacturing process.
• Knowledge of IoT technologies and integration of AI models with factory systems.
• Familiarity with computer vision, time series analysis, and predictive maintenance solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate business problems into AI-driven
solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
