We are seeking an experienced Advanced Field Service Engineer to join our team in Indonesia. The Advanced Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for our company’s products in the field. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and maintain complex technical systems and equipment at customer sites throughout Indonesia.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting, and repair of technical issues related to our company’s products.
• Provide training and technical support to customers, including end-users, technicians, and engineers, ensuring their effective and efficient use of the products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of technical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections according to the maintenance schedule and company guidelines.
• Document and report service activities, including service reports, field service logs, and inventory management.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, technical advancements, and industry trends relevant to our company’s products.
• Provide feedback and insights to the engineering team regarding product performance, reliability, and potential enhancements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on customer sites and during the execution of service activities.
• Travel to customer sites as required within Indonesia.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role
• Strong technical background and hands-on experience with complex technical systems, troubleshooting, and repairs, especially in DCS (Mandatory)
• Experience in leading a team
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Ability to work independently in remote locations and handle multiple service requests simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using relevant diagnostic tools, software, and equipment.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet service targets.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites within Indonesia and occasionally internationally.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
