Manulife Indonesia Actuarial Pricing Analyst will be responsible to to evaluate product risks and set premiums for new products and review of existing products, as well as other initiatives that have financial and risk impact to the company, by applying actuarial principles and collaborating with local and regional stakeholders. It includes analyzing data, developing actuarial models, recommending pricing strategies, monitoring of performance of pricing decisions.

We are looking for someone with:

• 5-6 years of experience in Actuarial roles, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Life Insurance Pricing
• Good progress of actuarial exams, close to getting fellowship qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point), and actuarial modeling software (eg. AXIS)
• Have strong analytical and critical thinking
• Demonstrate good communication and project management skills
• Have leadership and teamwork capability

• Ability to build and manage relationships with the key internal stakeholders

On the job you will:

• Lead the modelling and analysis work on new product ideation, to ensure alignment with company’s strategic and financial goals and consistent with the risk appetite
• Lead the campaign review work, by assessing financial impact and risk analysis, aligning with relevant stakeholders and ensuring proper governance and review process
• Provide support to the preparation of business performance reviews, and deliver pricing risk reports on regular basis
• Coordinate / lead projects or workstreams to support strategic and ad-hoc pricing deliverables
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
