About the Role

As our Account Receivable Manager, you will be a part of the team that is responsible for the day-to-day operations related to Account Receivable while dedicated to improving and implementing the organizational system, procedures, and processes within the GoTo Group and its regional subsidiaries. You will be reporting to the SSC Head of Finance Operations and collaborating closely with GoTo Group Finance & Accounting and Treasury functions.

What You Will Do

  • Support GoTo Group and its regional subsidiaries
  • Manage invoices, reconcile payments received, follow up on delayed payments and liaise with related stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Lead month-end closing of accounts receivable
  • Communicating/liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inconsistencies/disputes 
  • Oversee, improve, monitor, and enforce electronic and manual billing policies and procedures
  • Be the SME expert to all internal stakeholders, providing excellent service and support, and advice where applicable
  • Proactively identify issues and look for improvements in the process

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably in Account Receivable especially Credit & Collection Management
  • Strong leadership skills with a positive mindset, constantly seeking to better the process within the  AR function
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable with a fluid and ever-changing work environment
  • Strong reasoning and independent thinking, taking initiative and capable to deliver independently with minimal supervision
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office, with SAP knowledge and experience is preferable

About the Team

Our Finance Shared Service Team, a sub-pod of the Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Escrow team, has 20 team members based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Working alongside the Accounting and Tax teams, we oversee the account receivable, accounts payable, payment processing, and cash flow management of all Gojek entities in Indonesia and Singapore. Currently, our team has been busy working on the alignment of policies and procedures with global standards, regulations, and market practice, which will help Gojek to increase its competitiveness in the global market from a finance operations perspective. Specifically, the Account Receivable team, the Team will manage the full spectrum of AR management from the billing to collection activities. 

As a team, we’re concerned with the growth of the company, and each other’s personal growth and well-being, too. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company! Off hours, you’d probably find us snacking, drinking, and gossiping.
