Position Overview:
The Accounting & Tax Manager (External Clients) at Seven Stones Indonesia is responsible for managing and overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and taxation services for the company’s portfolio of external clients. This role ensures all clients receive accurate, compliant, and timely financial management solutions aligned with Indonesian regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, client management skills, and the ability to lead a team in delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Accounting & Financial Reporting
· Manage full accounting services for multiple external clients across various industries.
· Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with PSAK (Indonesian GAAP).
· Oversee bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow monitoring for each client.
· Conduct regular financial reviews and provide business insights or improvement recommendations.
· Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in all client financial records.
2. Taxation & Compliance
· Supervise and execute all tax-related obligations for clients, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, PPh 4(2), and VAT (PPN).
· Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual tax reports to DJP (Directorate General of Taxes) on behalf of clients.
· Ensure all client tax filings are compliant with current Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
· Support clients during tax audits, objections, and appeals.
· Provide proactive tax planning, advisory, and risk mitigation strategies to clients.
3. Client Relations & Advisory
· Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong professional relationships.
· Provide expert advice on accounting structure, tax efficiency, and financial compliance.
· Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business operations and deliver tailored financial solutions.
· Ensure high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.
4. Team Leadership & Coordination
· Supervise and mentor the Accounting & Tax team handling client portfolios.
· Review and approve work prepared by junior accountants before submission to clients.
· Coordinate cross-departmentally with Legal, Business Development, and Corporate Secretary teams for integrated client support.
· Maintain efficiency and accuracy in all client deliverables according to company timelines and standards.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master’s or professional certification such as Brevet A/B/C, CPA, or CA preferred).
· Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management, with at least 2 years handling multiple client portfolios.
· Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, PSAK, and DJP compliance requirements.
· Experience working in a consulting firm, accounting services company, or tax advisory practice is highly preferred.
· Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent client communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
