Job Title: Accounting Officer/Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Location: Gresik, East Java

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer/Supervisor fluent in Mandarin to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee our accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting, while also facilitating communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders. If you have a strong accounting background, proficiency in Mandarin, and leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  1. Fluency in Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia is also preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous.
  3. Proven experience in accounting roles, with at least [X years] in a supervisory capacity.
  4. Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Familiarity with Indonesian financial reporting requirements is preferred.
  5. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
  7. Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
  8. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  9. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  10. Integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness in financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  3. Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  5. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings.
  6. Facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  7. Provide guidance and support to accounting staff, including training and performance evaluation.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures, systems, and controls.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
  10. Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
