About the Accounting & Tax Role:

This position will be a critical role as you will be the person responsible for timely bookkeeping, payment, audit liaise, taxation. Based in North Jakarta, reporting to Accounting Group leader & Accounting Manager, this is a great opportunity to join the Accounting team of an established Japan PMA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Check & verify all invoice from vendor / suppliers to ensure proper calculation, validation & completeness of supporting documents.
  2. Record all Account Receivable (AR) & Account Payable (AP) journal entries, ensuring align with the appropriate accounts.
  3. Prepare general journal entries (including amortization, accruals, and adjustment) and perform bank reconciliations and other supporting list for monthly/year-end accounting closings process.
  4. Support monitoring and analyze budgets vs actual.
  5. Prepare and submit monthly tax returns (VAT & WHT) included issue tax invoice, ensuring timely payment and submission, tax reconciliation and handle all information data requests.
  6. Support to prepare Annual Tax Return (CIT) and Transfer Pricing Documentation
  7. Prepare foreign report to Bank Indonesia (ULN & KPPK) as required.
  8. Liaise during the audit process (internal or external), ensuring align with Accounting Standard (IFRS / SAK), tax laws and other regulatory requirements.
  9. Develop action plans to improve current systems, rules, procedures, and address other concern using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology.
  10. Manage All matters related to accounting, finance, and tax, fostering a productive and compliant working environment.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in finance/accounting/fiscal
  2. 5 – 8 years of experience with handle accounting & tax compliance from various industry, if have experience to handling budget preparation more advantage
  3. Proficient in using Ms. Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) and fluent to communication in English (Japanese will be an advantage)
  4. Have Brevet AB certificate preferable.
  5. Experience with Accounting software MS Dynamic AX or other ERP application (DJP Online, Coretax, e-Faktur, etc.)
  6. Able to make, control and analyze budget.
  7. Good knowledge in accounting and tax and keep up to date with the new regulation
  8. Understanding of implementation PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology
  9. Ready to be assigned and relocated as needed
  10. Communicative, Fast learning, good time management, able to work with tight deadline, quick respond for urgent matter, can work in team and individual, responsible & positive attitude
