Accounting and Finance Manager

Main Duties

  • Lead and supervise accounting processes, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to accounting standards.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of financial data, tax reports, and administration.

  • Review calculations, reporting, and payment of income tax (PPh), value-added tax (PPN), and other taxes.

  • Analyze the impact of business transactions on financial statements and tax obligations.

  • Identify accounting and tax risks and provide improvement recommendations.

  • Oversee compliance with PSAK, IFRS, and national tax regulations.

  • Manage the accounting & tax team, providing direction and coaching.

  • Serve as a liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and tax authorities.

  • Provide reports, analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting / Finance / Taxation

  • Work Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in accounting & taxation, with at least 2 years managerial experience

  • Competencies:

  4. Accounting Technology & Automation: Manage ERP & cloud-based accounting systems

  5. Documentation & Administration: Optimize documentation systems & support audit processes

  6. Analysis & Problem Solving: Conduct in-depth evaluation of financial processes & data-driven recommendations

  • Taxation:

  1. Tax Regulation: Analyze the impact of tax regulation changes on the company

  2. Tax Compliance Management: Manage company tax compliance strategies

  3. Tax Reconciliation & Verification: Ensure full accuracy & handle complex tax discrepancies

  4. Tax Analysis & Planning: Design & implement optimal tax strategies

  5. Collaboration with Tax Authorities & Auditors: Handle tax audits & provide solutions for interpretation differences

  • Characteristics: Meticulous, strategic, communicative, able to lead a team, results-oriented, analytical, and highly ethical

  • Other Requirements:

  • Mastery of PSAK, IFRS, and Indonesian tax regulations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP (SAP, Oracle, Odoo), and tax software (e-SPT, e-Faktur)

  • Experienced in external & internal audits
