Responsibilities: 

As an accountant working for a global company, your core responsibility would be to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with international accounting standards. Here are some specific responsibilities you may have:

1. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Compliance: Ensure that the company’s financial statements are prepared in compliance with IFRS, which is a set of accounting standards used in many countries around the world.
2. Tax Compliance: Ensure that the company is compliant with tax laws and regulations in all the countries where it operates. This may involve managing tax filings, coordinating with local tax authorities, and understanding the nuances of international tax law.
3. Transfer Pricing: Ensure that the company’s transfer pricing practices comply with local regulations and are in line with arm’s length principles. This involves setting prices for transactions between different subsidiaries of the company to ensure that profits are not artificially shifted to lower-tax jurisdictions.
4. Currency Conversion: Manage currency conversion for financial transactions that occur in multiple currencies. This involves tracking exchange rates, managing foreign currency bank accounts, and accurately accounting for gains and losses from currency fluctuations.
5. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into the company’s financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making by senior management.
6. Audit Management: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure that the company’s financial statements are audited in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
7. Training and development: help plan and coordinate training and development programs for employees.
8. Performance management: support managers in the performance appraisal process, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations.
9. Compensation and benefits: responsible for the administration of an organization’s compensation and benefits programs, including salaries, bonuses, insurance, and assist with payroll administration
10. Recruitment and hiring: This includes developing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for hiring.

In summary, as an accountant working for a global company, your core responsibility is to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with international accounting standards, tax laws, and transfer pricing regulations, while providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by senior management.

REQUIREMENTS :

•  Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting
•  Maximum 30 years old. 
•  Strong understanding of accounting theory
•  5+ years accounting/finance experience
• Understanding of hiring and talent hunting Required.
•  Advance EXCEL SKILL is a must (build formula from 0)
•  Tax knowledge and experience (PPh 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29; PPN)
•  HAnalytical Skills: The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to act and operate with minimal daily direction from Manager to accomplish objectives
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior management and communicate effectively with team members across different locations and cultures.
• Understanding of e-commerce business models, revenue streams, and operational processes to provide meaningful insights to senior management.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while maintaining quality at all times
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
