Job Descriptions:

• Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including vendor invoices, purchase orders, corporate credit cards, employee expense reports, etc

• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices

• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres by following the budget and analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries

• Process employee expense reports by reviewing the expense coding and ensuring the expenses are all valid according to the expense policy

• Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing AP payments, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation

• Maintain vendors and invoices records accurately through the Tipalti system

• Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos

• Assist with external audits

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Have 1-2 years of working experience as accounts payable or in related fields

• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to organize and multitask

• Ability to get jobs done before the deadline

• Ability to listen to others and resolve disputes among departmental staff and with vendors

• Ability to relate with all members of staff in the accounts receivable department and across other departments

• Possess great skills in the use of various Microsoft Office packages, like MS Word and Excel

• Ability to use various accenting-related computer programs
