Job Descriptions:

Review All Conversations with the Assigned Property Owners and Take the Following Steps:

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and issues. 
  • Open tickets with the relevant departments to address concerns. 
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing tickets and update property owners accordingly. 
  • Ensure that requests and inquiries are resolved within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Close tickets and conversations once tasks are completed. 
  • Verify the completion of pending tasks and address any outstanding matters.

Overview Assigned Property Accounts in Hostify: 

  • Review the current occupancy status and collaborate with the revenue manager if targets are not met. 
  • Check the review ratings on each OTA; if declined, collaborate with relevant departments to take corrective action and communicate with the property owner. 
  • Stay informed about the property’s condition in collaboration with the Operational Department, obtaining maintenance reports for owner presentation. 
  • Stay updated on market conditions in collaboration with the Reservation Department.

In the Event of Property Owner Issues: 

  • Obtain detailed information about the concerns and assure the owner that resolution will occur promptly. 
  • Investigate the issue and collaborate with relevant departments for resolution. Ensure the issue is addressed, resolved, and preventive measures are implemented. 
  • If the issue requires an executive decision, prepare a chronology and propose a solution for executive approval.

In Case of Termination: 

  • Clarify termination reasons with the property owner. 
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to mitigate issues and propose solutions to avoid termination. 
  • Propose a meeting with the owner to explore middle-ground solutions and prevent termination.  
  • If termination is inevitable, coordinate with related departments for a smooth handover process.

 Oversee Owner Reports and Payouts

  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate, clear, and timely delivery of owner reports. 
  • Address any concerns related to property reports, working with the accounting department to revise reports and prevent discrepancies in future reporting periods. 

Upselling Services to Property Owners: 

  • If the property requires maintenance, renovations, upgrades, or interior enhancements, the Account Executive (AE) should proactively engage in upselling discussions with property owners and successfully close deals. 
  • If there is a need to upgrade the contract type, such as transitioning from OE or Non-Ex to Full Management (FM), it is the responsibility of the AE to persuasively convince the owner to make this contractual switch.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is often preferred. However, relevant work experience may sometimes be accepted in place of a formal degree.
  • Previous experience as a Account Executive or Account Manager in property management, Real Estate, or a related field is typically required. This could include experience in account management or a sales role.
  • A solid understanding of the property management industry, including knowledge of leasing, tenant relations, property maintenance, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Account Executives in property management often need to communicate with property owners, tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to negotiate and close deals is crucial. This may involve negotiating lease agreements, vendor contracts, or other financial transactions.
  • Strong customer service skills are important for maintaining positive relationships with clients, tenants, and other parties involved in property management.
  • Familiarity with property management software and other relevant tools is often required. This includes knowledge of accounting software, CRM systems, and other technology used in the industry.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized is important in property management where there are often various ongoing projects and tasks.
  • Property management can present various challenges and issues. An effective Account Executive should be able to identify problems and propose practical solutions.
  • Building and maintaining a network within the real estate and property management industry can be advantageous for an Account Executive. This can help in finding new business opportunities and staying informed about industry trends.
