GENERAL MANAGER (SUPPORT SERVICES)

We have vacancy for a General Manager to oversee the Support Services (Finance, HR, and Procurement) of the company. The incumbent will manage a team of 5 and will be part of the management team to support and drive the company’s overall growth strategy. The position reports to the President Director and dotted line reporting to the Group Finance Director (based in Singapore) 

Job Description & Responsibilities

Finance

  • Supervise the accounts team to ensure month end closing of books are in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards, IFAS
  • Submit monthly IFRS reporting packages to Singapore with detailed analysis on P/L and B/S items
  •  Review Accounts Receivables on a monthly basis with sales team to ensure timely collections from customers
  • Ensure intercompany transactions are documented and adhere to transfer pricing policy
  • Review inventory and flag out potential stock obsolescence, investigate stock discrepancies and opportunities to optimize the amount of inventory held
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Ensure all audit and tax matters are in compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
  •  Implement quality assurance, process management and internal controls, policies and procedures, and make recommendations on various areas for improvement

HR and Admin

  • Manage end-to-end HR operational support functions e.g. recruitment, training, payroll, assessment, discipline etc.
  • Create a company culture and maintain a healthy working environment.

Procurement

  • Manage the end-to end procurement and sales support functions
  • Negotiate prices and terms of business with vendors to bring cost savings to the company
  • Assess and evaluate vendors and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience including 3 years in a managerial position
  • Qualified CA/CPA with professional accounting bodies
  • 3-5 years of working experience in running a HR and Procurement department
  • Strong business sense with good financial analysis, fluent English (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem solving and decision making skills for unstructured situational issues
  • Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP system
