Summary

Qualification

• Graduate from University with technical background (preferable mechanical/material/naval/marine engineering)
• Have experience more than 6 years as Pipeline Engineer
• Having the experience minimum 3 Projects onshore or offshore (preferable)
• Experience and knowledge with local or international regulation related to pipeline (ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ASTM, API, Kepmen etc)
• Good computer skills (Ms Office)
• Have good analysis and communication skills
• Self-motivated, smart working, good teamwork and target oriented

Responsibility

• Performs pipeline engineering tasks; including, but not limited to, pipeline related calculations, alignment sheet, route map, site specific and detail drawing development, and flow assurance support.
• Prepares and review specifications, data sheets, material requisitions and bid evaluations
• Reviews vendor provided data, documentation, and drawings.
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard pipeline engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
• Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines.
• Provides technical assistance to other pipeline personnel and will interact with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues.
• Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project pipeline requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution.
• Ensures that engineering is carried out in accordance with the project specific procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Ensures that pipeline design meets industry best practice and complies with pertinent pipeline codes and standards, governing regulations, and industry practices.
• Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or bid proposals for pipeline.
• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs and Manhour/Manpower requirements, deliverable list for proposals, forecasts and change orders.
• Reviews and checks work of subordinate engineers.
• Collaborate with the designing team to properly implement ideas to complete significant projects and provide all engineering support.
• Planning and Scheduling work activities for the pipeline team.
• Provision of instructions on pipeline alignment dwg, technical information to the designers
• Undertaking work quality control in his/her job area responsibility
