Lowongan Kerja Jakarta Raya Posisi Consultant – Corporate Sustainability And Climate Change di ERM Environmental Resources Management

Due to significant growth in demand for our corporate sustainability and climate change services, there is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our sustainability and climate change consultancy team.  

The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary team, supporting ERM’s client organizations on a range of challenges related to energy and climate change, including, but not limited to:

• Sustainability/ESG diagnostics

• Peer benchmarking

• Sustainability strategy development, including materiality assessment and goal-setting.

• Internal engagement

• External engagement

• Sustainability reporting and disclosure

Our role as consultant is to help our clients to achieve their sustainable development objectives, and to effectively manage their related business risks and opportunities.

The team interacts continually with ERM’s other practice areas, and in particular the successful candidate will work closely with the rest of the sustainability and climate change team, with the opportunity to assist clients in areas such as: sustainability strategy; environmental and social impact assessment; transactional due diligence; EHS performance management and assurance; and risk management, to deliver value-added services to ERM’s international client base.

CORE SKILLS

Technical knowledge

• Degree (Master’s ais a plus) in related field (business, finance, economics, sustainability, international development, climate change, public policy); 

• 2-3 years’ work experience in sustainability, climate change, energy or related fields;

• Understanding of and interest in global sustainable development and climate change agenda and trends

• Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, analyze and synthesize diverse information and data

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions

• Strong team player, ability to work collaboratively and effectively with projects teams based around the region

• Self-starter, pro-active, willing to take initiative

• Strong organization and time management skills, takes accountability for own tasks

• Experience working in multi-cultural teams is a plus

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Experience of data manipulation and visualization tools in addition to Excel would be an advantage.

• Experience of managing small/mid-sized projects or tasks within larger projects would be an advantage.

• Ability to manage/deliver multiple projects/tasks in parallel with different requirements and timelines.

• Some business development/proposal writing experience would be an advantage.

• Highly numerate and comfortable with large datasets including conversions and calculations.

• Good written and oral presentation skills.

• Good technical writing skills and ability to synthesize reports to a very high standard.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Enthusiasm, energy and a desire to work in a dynamic team within an international consultancy.

• Motivated and willing to take the initiative to make things happen; quick to learn new skills and develop in new subject areas related to climate finance.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively, through good report-writing skills and strong presentational skills.
