Description

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies that optimize equipment and infrastructure performance, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance programs, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for changes.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling of maintenance work, procurement of spare parts, and management of contractors and vendors.
• Develop and maintain a system for tracking maintenance performance metrics, analyzing data, and reporting on trends and issues to senior management.
• Provide leadership and direction to maintenance staff, including training, mentoring, and performance management.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the mining sector.
• Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies and programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
