Purpose of the position:

This position will be responsible for handling and supporting our accounting department with day-to-day accounting activities. You are expected to have high level of planning and organisational skills with keen eyes for data accuracy. You will be responsible for maintaining accounting records such profit and loss accounts, ledger accounts, and the balance sheet of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Checking and recording of all Invoices and receipt to make sure it is valid. 
• Validating tax invoice is accurate and correctly calculated. 
• Matching of invoices against any contract or agreement to ensure it is valid. 
• Recording of all valid invoices and receipt as legal obligation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and any discrepancies are resolved accurately. Preparing expense payment schedules to ensure payments are made following the agreed terms & conditions. 
• Managing Account receivables including its collection. 
• Update company assets and depreciation schedule. 
• Preparing and sending of invoices. 
• Proper filing of all invoices and receipt. 
• Preparing for month-end and year-end closing process.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related background. 
• Ideally to have started CPA courses or similar. 
• Good knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles. 
• Good knowledge in using Accounting software & Excel. 
• Good understanding of tax regulations. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Attentive to detail and accuracy
• Have a good knowledge of SAP would be advantage.
