We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Key Account Management who will be accountable to formulate the high-level key account strategy in supporting business growth of all therapeutic areas and ensure the achievement of business objectives. You will also lead, coach, develop Key Account Managers to manage team effectiveness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide recommendations to management e.g. BU Head/Commercial Director regarding the opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Set, monitor, and follow up sales and profitability targets for all key accounts.
  • Seek out potentials leads and develop prospects lists/sales pipeline of new corporate accounts (both private and government channels).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationship to the customers at the board level with the aim to improve relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and monitor sales, promotional activities, and pricing policies to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Analyse sales performance of all therapeutic areas based on predefined KPIs and improve accordingly in response to changing sales conditions.
  • Act as a main contact for GSK’s Business Partners handling GSK’s key and high-level activities in key account hospitals.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum education background as Bachelor in Sciences. Higher degree in sales & marketing or business studies would be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in Sales Management and 3 years experiences in Key Account Management for pharmaceutical industry.
  • Team and people management experience in sales area is required.
  • Proven analytical and business planning skills, with entrepreneurial spirit.
