Job Description:

• Investigate and plan the most appropriate route for delivery, 
• Considering the perishable or hazardous nature of the goods, cost, transit time, and security.
• Arrange for proper packaging, taking into account climate, terrain, weight, nature of goods and cost, as well as delivery and warehousing of goods at final destination.
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, including packaging specifications, and regulatory compliance.
• Review pricing strategies and conduct profit margin analysis to maintain competitiveness, negotiate fare contracts with carriers/airlines/vendors.
• Manager local vendors to move goods (by road, rail, air or sea) according to customer requirements.
• Actively participate in daily operational activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of Transport and Logistics operational procedures.
• Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, B/L, clearance statements and shipping related issues to meet all requirements and authorities.
• Maintain existing customers and develop new business accounts.
• Participate in projects and other company tasks as assigned.
• Negotiate with airlines and vendors
• To monitor day to day shipment progress, coordinate with customers and agents, and execute problems.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3-4 years of logistics experience specifically in Air / Sea Freight will be preferred
• Minimum 2/3 years leading and managing teams
• Minimal D3/S1
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
• Problem solving skills that can be applied to business processes
• Extensive experience in working on projects 
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and influence others, set a positive example, and create a productive and positive environment
• Collaborative and adaptive leadership approach
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate an inspiring vision and engage and motivate teams to perform at their best
• Proficiency in financial and operational performance metrics with the ability to understand and communicate them
• proficiency in English, Mandarin is a plus
