We are looking for an experienced Regional Credit Underwriting Head to determine our customers’ creditworthiness and you will analyze financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower honouring their financial obligations. You will also lead a newly acquire Multifinance company as part of the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer application to give credit recommendation that can maximize portfolio return, minimize potential credit loss to the lending business
• Become highest layer to loan approval and responsible for making recommendations to the borrower for new, renewal and extension loans to approve or deny the extension of credit
• Designing and driving implementation of credit strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines together with risk management to support business growth with healty credit portfolio
• Develop and implement early warning detection and proactive stress testing strategies in underwriting process to detect deterioration in portfolio quality
• Creating key operational matrix in underwriting and operation unit including measuring capacity planning, productivity, SLA and TAT as per comitted time
• Have extensive knowledge about various types of businesses, financial statement, risk process so that able to give feedbacks on current policy and propose solution to close that gaps
• Lead operation support to achieve best efficient and cost effective operating models with still managing the credit risks and fraud risks.

Requirements

• Having experience in lending business of financial institution with minimum 5 years, related with underwriting, credit analyst and credit operation is a must.
• Have extensive knowledge in underwriting methodology and best practice on Showroom/Dealer refinancing business and Consumer Finance loan (passenger and commercial car) is a must.
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree from top local or overseas universities with excellent GPA. Postgraduate/MBA degree and consulting experience is a plus.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel skills, MS Word and Power point is a must and high understanding of financial statement and business process
• Have sound knowledge in credit risk principles and credit loss concept and best practice applied to car lending and commercial loan
• Proven track record of performing highly in previous role(s) and able to make sound credit decision
• Care about doing an excellent job and exceeding expectations with the quality of what you do in fast paced environment
• Solid oral and written communication skills (both English and Indonesian) and able to communicate every policies and analysis to varied audiences including to whole lending team
• Experience in managing big team with pro-active mindset and problem solving
