Job Title: SCADA Engineer

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Job Description

· Analyse, design, develop, test and implement Operational Technology (OT) automation systems (SCADA/DCS/PLC/HMI/RTU) based on client requirements.

· Liaise with other departments (internally), vendors, and contractors to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.

· Collaborate with related engineers and operations to optimal alarms descriptions, priority, etc.

· Provide expert response, analysis, report, and resolution planning for managing issues and providing appropriate solutions.

· Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability by establishing stable, secure, and maintainable systems infrastructure through the implementation of OT best practices.

· Perform maintenance and handle update responsibilities for software and hardware within the systems.

· Conduct system performance monitoring, testing and analysis.

· Develop strategies to improve systems management and response rates.

· Research existing and emerging hardware and software technologies to determine capabilities and cost-benefits relationship, and acquire/develop ongoing systems solutions that meet performance and budgetary requirements.

Required Skills/Abilities

· Experience in installing, configuring, programming, and troubleshooting router, RTU, PLC and other SCADA applications, network device, and instrumentation.

· Experience in OT systems related to utility industry is an added advantage.

· Great fundamental in SCADA system architecture.

· Good knowledge in SCADA communication protocol such as Modbus, IEC 61850, IEC 101, IEC 104 and DNP3.0.

· Experience working in Linux environment is an added advantage.

· Self-starters, able to work independently, display initiative and keen to take responsibility.

· Adaptable and flexible to changing environment and needs.

· Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.

· Able to communicate and set the right solution expectation to customer and internal cross functional teams.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

· Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or any related field.

· Minimum 1-3 years of related experience.
