Job Description:

• Conduct market research to identify potential industry partners and clients for the institute’s research activities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners and clients, acting as a liaison between them and the institute’s faculty.
• Identify research opportunities that align with the institute’s capabilities and research interests, and communicate these opportunities to potential industry partners and clients.
• Work closely with faculty to understand their research interests and capabilities and develop strategies for commercializing their research.
• Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with industry partners and clients.
• Track and report on business development activities, including revenue generated and business opportunities pursued.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and use this knowledge to inform the institute’s business development strategies.
• Hosting and participating in industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote the institute’s research capabilities and identify potential business opportunities.

Requirement :

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in business development or sales in the life science industry (pharma or food industry).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with faculty, industry partners, and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate potential business opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to develop and negotiate contracts and proposals.
• Proficient English communication is preferable.
