JOB OFFER

The Procurement Packaging Manager drives optimization with accountability for developing, leading, and implementing procurement strategies and continuous improvement across the assigned role (packaging). Responsibilities include supporting the Head of Direct in implementing the goals to deliver the business needs (e.g., growth, savings, working capital improvement and innovation). This role has significant amounts of hands-on sourcing work (both strategic and tactical), and draws from the depth of knowledge, perspective, and prior experiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage $55 millions of packaging spend.
• Manage systems to ensure accurate supplier and pricing information is available to ensure supply continuity.
• Review monthly purchase price variances; understand and mitigate the impact on the business.
• Create, champion, and execute sourcing strategies which allow for sustainable and transformation value maximizing top and bottom-line growth.
• Provide supplier market expertise to the business for the portfolio including routine forecasting of short- and long-term price trends and availability.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers ensuring the most optimal terms and conditions while never compromising service or quality.
• Establish trust and build effective business relationships with vendors for short- and long-term partnership.
• Interface with senior leadership including business unit presidents, brand teams, and regional category leaders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or Accounting are preferred.
• Minimum 4 years experiences in related procurement. Substantial hands-on-experience Packaging Procurement is preferred.
• Proven project management skills, including strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and collaboration skills to support working within cross-functional teams, influencing for results, and driving improvements.
• Commitment to development of self and team, focuses on creating high-performance teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
• Passion about making a difference and improving the business.
• Solid communication, problem solving, and research skills are necessary.
