Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage Initial Underwriting team, who are responsible to deliver:

• Checking completeness and validity documents according to the SO
• Analyze magnum evidence code and put in follow up screen at Life Asia
• Analyze the answers given in the SPAJ
• Analyze any amendments and other documents (including medical, legal and financial documents) received together with SPAJ
• Approve non-jet cases up to IDR 2 bio sum assured
• Analyze and issue administrative as well as medical requirements
• If the SPAJ does not meet the requirements to be approved, transfer the SPAJ to pending underwriters for further processing

Being a team leader who holds RESPECT :

• Lead team members with RESPECT
• Ensure team member attends/passes trainings/exams required
• Monitor service standard team by having productivity, errors and turn around time report
• Create honest, supportive, open and competitive environment in team by having sufficient communications with team members
• Maintain individual punctuality of team members
• Maintain procedure in leave days is proper

Ensure smooth communication with other departments

• Doing meeting with other departments as needed to solve Underwriting issues
• Ensure customer orientation is the basis for every approach

Liaise with Legal & Compliance to report suspicious transactions that finding in doing daily process

Job Specification:

a.       Qualification

• Bachelor degree (Medical doctor or biology is preferred)
• Having good sense of risk selection
• Good analytical and inter-personal skill
• Good communication skill
• Pleasant personality, good attitude and good team working
• Action-oriented and customer oriented

b.      Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years experience in insurance industry.

c.       Knowledge

• Computer literate : word, excel, and power point applications
• Active English
• Underwriting Knowledge
