JOB DUTIES

·       Pricing local OFR opportunities for in country sales and overseas

·       Pricing RFQ OFR opportunities as part of the GBT process and for larger non GBT RFQs

·       Providing suggested Selling Rate to sales for BC opportunity

·       As the local arm of the RRM, to ensure capacity procurement and management at CT level is aligned to Corporate Carrier Strategy in terms of carrier choice and shifting.

·       Maintain buying rate updated

·       Maintaining good relationship with carriers and co-loaders on local level

·       Monitoring lifting from carriers

·       Negotiate rate with shipping lines locally

·       Provide required rate in timely manner

·       Communicate with Regional Office to get competitive rate

·       Communicate with carriers for space & equipment issue

·       Close follow up with carriers for commercial issue

·       Collaborate with Regional Office to retain Global Account business

·       Provide aggressive rates in every new RFQs

·       Ensuring timely submission for all RFQs

·       Close collaboration with RRM to understand regional/global market developments as well as provide local market feedback to RRM

·       Provide market intelligence and rate development to M&S to guide them in their customer meetings and selling approach.

·       Regular reviews with M&S on existing and new OFR pipeline opportunity to ensure follow up and closure on rate quotation to customers.

·       Participate in joint calls with M&S to promote OFR capabilities to customers as well as gather feedback on customer requirements.

·       Comply with QHSE procedure and regulation

·       Actively participate in all QHSE program

JOB REQUIREMENT

·       Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent

·       Minimum 4 years experience in Freight Forwarding Industry

·       English fluency both in writing and speaking

·       Computer literacy 

·       Six Sigma Certification is an added value
