Responsibilities 

• Responsible for developing and implementing the fixed income investment strategies and allocation decisions for AllianzGI’s Indonesia business. Build and implement investment processes and deliver competitive and consistent investment results. Cultivate the capability of team members and lead the team to deliver competitive results. Assist in marketing pitches to grow both retail and institutional AUM. Be an active contributor to the boarder APAC fixed-income team
• To deliver competitive (top quartile) and consistent funds return for all portfolios and segregated mandates with proper risk management and monitoring, thought leadership and in-depth research
• To guide the research analysts to ensure consistency of local research framework and output to global standard and practice
• To support marketing efforts by speaking/presenting the investment products and services to potential clients, as well as to obtain additional capital injections from existing clients.
• Ensure that mandates and funds are handled in accordance with the client’s instructions or prospectus.
• Collaborate with the APAC fixed-income team by actively participating in the meetings held by the APAC fixed-income team, discussing investment ideas and sharing local expertise with the boarder team

Experience/Qualifications and Skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of Economics/Finance/Science and Engineering. Master’s degree in economics/Finance is preferable.

• Hold a WMI license and CFA is preferable
• 5 years+ experience in fixed income and/or equity markets and 5 years experienced in fund management, with a successful track record of assets selection and portfolio management
• Strong in-depth knowledge of macroeconomic & market trends
• Familiar with the Regional market and have prior exposure to the different asset classes
• Excellent communication and managerial skills

Other skills required

• Experiences in managing fixed income and equity security portfolios and possess in-depth knowledge of portfolio theory, macroeconomic and market trends.  Display teamwork skills and work closely with colleagues both local and regional.
