• Provide high level electrical engineering input into the project and develop key electrical deliverables

• Development of conceptual and overall electrical system design and optimisation studies, including front end engineering design

• Input to multi-discipline activities, review of key discipline documents, high-level concept studies and perform inter-discipline design reviews

• Preparation of Electrical Engineering design deliverables including design philosophies, technical studies, calculations, equipment specifications, datasheets and drawings

• Equipment procurement support including technical RFQ preparation, bid evaluation and selection, vendor document review and approval

• Classification of Hazardous Areas to recognised international codes and standards.

• Provide direct supervision, guidance, knowledge transfer, direction and coordination for electrical engineers, designers and other technical personnel in the execution of the project work.

• Provide input and assistance to project controls group in the way of progress reporting, manpower planning, activity scheduling etc

• Able to work within the WorleyParsons Quality Management System and must have an awareness of HS&E in Design within assigned project

• Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are satisfied

• Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment

• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards

• Competent in the use of applicable engineering software as necessary to complete design, as well as supporting software such as Microsoft Office applications

• Participate in the development of electrical cost, time and resource requirement estimates on assigned projects

• Detailed knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution and power systems analysis

Required:

A recognized Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or its equivalent.
