Quality Control for Playground manufacturing

Explora Playground is a Jakarta based playground manufacturing workshop based in Bintaro Indonesia. We have been in the market for 7 years producing playgrounds all around Indonesia and we are now exporting custom indoor and outdoor playgrounds globally to Europe, Seychelles, Dubai and other parts of Asia.

We are looking for someone with experience in checking quality for export to reach the standards in Europe and Australia. Experience in Furniture production would be a plus, or manufacturing in Indonesia using steel, wood, and plastics. 

Communication in Bahasa and English is a must, working in a large team, and having experience with tukang is necessary as the candidate will be closely working with skilled and specialized workers in welding, steel manufacturing, wood construction, painting and powdercoating.

Job Description

• Reading and interpreting drawings 
• Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards
• Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
• Inspecting, testing or measuring materials or products being produced
• Accepting or rejecting finished items
• Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specification
• Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
• Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly
• Determining the causes of product defects and reworks
• Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
• Proposing improvements to the production process

Quality control inspector should have 

• Detail to catch defects
• Experience with quality management systems
• Math skills – data reporting, measuring, calibrating, and calculating specification are just some of the many skills 
• Critical thinking skills, to help work through customer problems and production issues, as well as develop strategies for improving product quality
• Physical strength and stamina, as the job requires time on the feet
• Ability to read technical documents, and manuals
• A desire to achieve the best and ensure top quality products
