Highly skilled and experienced VP of Engineering to join our growing B2B payment solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performance engineering team, defining and executing the technology roadmap, and scaling the technology and team to support company’s growth plans.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a high-performance engineering team that is capable of delivering high-quality products and solutions.
• Define and execute the technology roadmap to support the company’s growth plans.
• Set up and implement engineering processes, tools, and standards to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics to ensure the team is meeting its goals and objectives.
• Work closely with the Head of Engineering and DevOps Lead/Head to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Collaborate with other functional areas, such as product, sales, and customer success, to align technology initiatives with business goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company is using the latest and most innovative solutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles.
• Strong experience in building and leading high-performance engineering teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality products and solutions.
• Experience in defining and executing technology roadmaps, implementing engineering processes and tools, and scaling technology and teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Experience in the fintech or payments industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in implementing them in an engineering organization.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures, microservices, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with modern software development technologies, such as Golang, Java, and others.
