Job Overview

“Learning & Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of employee training programs to enhance competencies, productivity, and the quality of service in accordance with company standards.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full training program lifecycle, from needs identification to implementation and evaluation.

  • Design and develop engaging and relevant training modules for various levels of employees.

  • Ensure that training programs are effective and meet established quality standards.

  • Collaborate with management to formulate short- and long-term employee development strategies.

  • Analyze training data to measure program impact and prepare reports for management.

  • Serve as a role model and mentor for all employees, promoting a continuous learning culture.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. Training Program Development (30%)

  • Training Needs: 100% of departments’ training needs are analyzed per quarter.

  • Material Relevance: 90% of participants agree the materials meet their needs.

  • Program Innovation: 2 new training methods introduced per year.

  • Curriculum Updates: 100% of the curriculum is aligned with the latest industry standards.

2. Training Implementation (25%)

  • Training Hours: A minimum of 40 hours of training are provided per month for all staff.

  • Participant Satisfaction: The average evaluation score is ≥4.5/5.

  • Staff Engagement: A minimum of 95% attendance for mandatory training.

  • Schedule Adherence: 100% of training sessions are conducted according to the timeline.

3. Training Impact (25%)

  • Performance Improvement: A minimum of 15% skill improvement is achieved based on post-training assessments.

  • Employee Retention: The employee turnover rate decreases by 10% Year-over-Year (YoY).

  • Practical Application: 80% of participants can directly apply the training in the field.

  • Service Impact: The Net Promoter Score (NPS) increases by 5 points.

4. Administration and Budget (15%)

  • Document Completion: 100% of modules and certificates are available.

  • Budget Utilization: A maximum of 5% under/over budget variance.

  • Evaluation Reports: 100% of reports are submitted on time.

  • Training Database: 100% of the database is updated and organized.

5. Departmental Collaboration (5%)

  • Departmental Coordination: 100% of departmental training needs are met.

  • Customized Training: 2 customized programs are developed per department per year.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen (WNI)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Training Manager, L&D Manager, or Training Coordinator in the hospitality industry.

  • Holds relevant training certifications (e.g., BNSP).

  • Willing to relocate to Lombok at your own cost

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in designing training modules, presentations, and engaging training activities.

  • Strong understanding of various employee development methods.

  • Skilled in data analysis and report generation.

  • Proficient in using MS Office (especially Excel & Word) and Google Workspace.

  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Has strong leadership qualities and effective time management skills.
