About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team at PT. TRANSGLOBAL INDO MANDIRI’ based in Batam Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all civil construction activities on site.

What you’ll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

2. Oversee the execution of construction plans and specifications, providing technical guidance to workers as needed

3. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays

4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

5. Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to facilitate effective project delivery

6. Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members

7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures

What we’re looking for

1. Substantial experience (3 years) as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role

2. Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications

3. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders

5. Working knowledge of relevant construction regulations, safety protocols and quality standards

6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior staff

7. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline
