ASSISTANT MANAGER OPERATION

Job Requirement:

• Technical Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 2-5 years experience working turbocharger or in a Mechanical workshop Environment.

• Candidate must process at least a degree in relevant discipline.

• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret mechanical drawings.

• Experience with precision measuring and dynamic balancing equipment.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good people skills and able to work with people of all background and levels.

• Fluent in English oral & written

• Ability to use MS Word and MS Excel

• Placement in Batam

Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for overall day to day management

2. Identify and schedule preparation activities, facilitate and verify processes

3. To plan and prepare for upcoming jobs including parts, information, personal hand tools, special OEM tools, and consumables to complete job.

4. Supervise and mentor team member to ensure compliance and enhance performance

5. To ensure documentations of all work performed with all measurements and activities included.

6. Coordinate with other department, customer, ship owners, agents and shipyards for seamless operations.

7. Responsible to address customer’s requirements, complaints, resolve problems and complete work scopes, ensuring customer satisfaction.

8. Must be able to troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair the main type of turbocharger i.e., MAN, ABB, MITSUBISHI, KBB and advantage (priority)

9. Assist and work together with commercial department to manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new potentials based on onsite experiences

10. Follow all company safety protocols and industry standards.

11. Contribute to strategic planning by analyzing performance report, managing budgets and training for continues improvement.
