Develop technical designs for Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems based on mining water characteristics, environmental quality standards, and applicable KLHK regulations.

Perform capacity calculations, technology selection, and process configuration—including coagulation–flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, aeration, reverse osmosis, and other relevant treatment technologies.

Prepare integrated water management plans covering TSS control, pH stabilization, metal content reduction, and other key pollutant parameters.

Compile and submit water quality monitoring reports in accordance with regulatory requirements (RKL/RPL, UKL/UPL, and reporting through SIMPEL/PEL or relevant platforms).

Analyze process efficiency and propose optimization initiatives related to chemical consumption, energy usage, and maintenance cost reduction.

Develop innovative technologies or process modifications to enhance the overall performance and efficiency of mining wastewater management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering (with focus on water management), or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in wastewater treatment; experience handling mining wastewater (acid mine drainage, high TSS, heavy metals, etc.) is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of wastewater treatment technologies such as coagulation–flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, osmosis systems, aeration techniques, clarifiers, and sludge management.

Ability to analyze water quality data and interpret laboratory results (physical, chemical, and metal parameters).

Solid knowledge of environmental regulations and effluent quality standards for industrial/mining wastewater (KLHK regulations).

Proficiency in supporting software/tools such as AutoCAD, HYSYS, WaterCAD, or EPANET is an advantage.

Possession of K3LH certifications or environmental competency certificates is a plus.

Company History

In 1988, Baramulti Group commenced trading in Jakarta , the first coal concession was acquired in Malinau, East Kalimantan. It now owns seven producing coal concessions with five other concessions under development.

The Group’s shipping business was established in 1993. It now operates 40 units of tugs and barges, of which 16 are owned by the Group.

The group also owns six floating cranes which provide offshore transshipment services for dry bulk cargo.
