About the Role

At Selong Selo Resort & Residences, personalized service is at the heart of every guest experience. We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Butler to deliver exceptional, discreet, and intuitive service to our guests, ensuring their stay is seamless, comfortable, and memorable.

The Butler serves as the main point of contact for guests throughout their stay anticipating needs, coordinating personalized experiences, and representing the resort’s highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

·       Provide personalized, anticipatory service to guests from arrival to departure, ensuring all needs and preferences are met.

·       Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in, orientation, and villa familiarization.

·       Handle guest requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring complete satisfaction.

·       Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge, and other departments to deliver seamless service.

·       Assist in arranging in-villa dining, excursions, transportation, and special occasions with meticulous attention to detail.

·       Always maintain discretion and professionalism, respecting guest privacy and confidentiality.

Operational & Administrative Duties

·       Prepare villas prior to guest arrival, ensuring cleanliness, setup, and amenities meet brand standards.

·       Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and feedback to support personalized service on future visits.

·       Ensure all guest interactions are logged and communicated effectively within the team and to management.

·       Monitor villa inventory, amenities, and maintenance needs, coordinating with relevant departments for follow-up.

Professional Conduct & Standards

·       Uphold the resort’s service culture and values through polished communication, appearance, and behaviour.

·       Stay informed about resort offerings, local attractions, and seasonal events to provide knowledgeable recommendations.

·       Support the team in creating meaningful guest experiences that reflect the authentic spirit of Selong Selo.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury resort, private villa, or high-end hotel environment.

·       Strong background in guest relations and personalized service.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required.

·       Professional grooming, demeanour, and service etiquette.

·       Knowledge of Butler training standards and multi-cultural guest expectations.

·       Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.
