We are looking for a Road and Bridge Engineer with strong expertise in structural, civil, and infrastructure design for large-scale projects. This role involves creating and reviewing designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring construction meets technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Design and evaluate structure of works including roads rehabilitation, new road, bridges, drainage systems, pipelines, Ashpalt works, and other utilities based on project needs and site conditions.

  2. Review site conditions, geotechnical data, and structural calculations from consultants to ensure strength, stability, and compliance with safety standards.

  3. Coordinate with master planner, architects, MEP engineers, and government consultants to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure design with other project elements.

  4. Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and provide technical solutions for issues encountered in the field.

  5. Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and quality evaluations to ensure all works meet applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (must have experienced in roads and bridges).

  1. 5 years or more proven experience in road and bridge construction, including geotechnical works.

  2. Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and able to create BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

  3. Must be able to speak English

  4. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote areas.

  5. Willing to be relocated to project sites as required.

  6. Skilled in:

  • Civil 3D Modelling- Creating contours, road design, bridge design and earthworks grading design.

  • AutoCAD – Reviewing architectural drawings, scaling, and overlaying architectural data into Civil 3D

  • ETABS/Structure Analysis Software – Calculating bridge, road materials, culvert, and simulations.

  • Sketchup – Generating 3D contours.

  • Willing to travel to Timor Leste to work
