About the role

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Yeakin Plastic Industry Pte Ltd in Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia. As a full-time employee, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production process and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing facility.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to meet established targets and deadlines

• Experiences in NAV/SAP system and computer literate.

• Monitor production performance, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks

• Provide coaching and training to production staff to continuously improve their skills and efficiency

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols and company policies

• Collaborate with other departments to optimise the production process and address any concerns

• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices

• Generate production reports and provide updates to management on a regular basis

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar production supervisor or team leader role in the manufacturing industry

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges

• Proficient in quality assurance principles and the implementation of lean manufacturing practices

• Familiar with production planning, inventory management and production reporting

• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
