About the role

As the Sales Admin Supervisor at PT Obor Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of the sales team. This full-time position is based in Surakarta, Central Java, and involves overseeing the administrative tasks that underpin the company’s sales activities.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Coordinate and oversee the daily administrative tasks of the sales team, ensuring efficient and accurate record-keeping

  2. Process sales orders, invoices, and other relevant documentation in a timely manner

  3. Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and responding to customer inquiries

  4. Assist with the preparation of sales reports and presentations

  5. Collaborate with the finance and logistics departments to ensure seamless coordination across the organisation

  6. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency

  7. Supervise and mentor junior administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed

What we’re looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales administrative or supervisory role, preferably within the office supplies or related industry

  2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers

  4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  5. Familiarity with sales and administrative software, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, is an advantage

  6. A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

  7. A team player with the ability to lead and motivate junior administrative staff
