About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Jobcore.id as a Procurement Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement processes and inventory management for the company’s operations in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya.

What you’ll be doing

1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials, goods and services.

2. Managing the procurement team and overseeing the procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and supplier performance evaluation.

3. Analyzing market trends, researching suppliers, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

4. Collaborating cross-functionally to understand business requirements and align procurement activities with the organization’s goals.

5. Maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing effective inventory management systems.

6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies related to procurement and inventory control.

7. Reporting on procurement performance metrics and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or inventory management, preferably in the manufacturing, transportation or logistics industry.

2. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and inventory control.

3. Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

4. Proficient in data analysis and the use of procurement and inventory management software.

5. Proven track record of achieving cost savings and optimizing procurement processes.

6. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
