About the role

As an Internal Audit Supervisor / Assistant Manager at PT. Polygroup Manufaktur Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal control systems and processes. In this full-time position based in Kendal, Central Java, you will be responsible for leading a team of auditors and providing strategic oversight to deliver high-quality audit services.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive audit plans to assess the company’s financial, operational, and compliance controls

  2. Leading a team of auditors in conducting thorough investigations, analysing data, and identifying potential risks or areas for improvement

  3. Preparing detailed audit reports that provide clear recommendations for strengthening internal controls and operational efficiency

  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions

  5. Mentoring and developing the skills of the audit team to enhance their capabilities and drive continuous improvement

  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards within the manufacturing and logistics sectors

What we’re looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry

  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues

  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey audit findings and recommendations to various stakeholders

  4. Proficient in using audit software and data analysis tools to drive informed decision-making

  5. A relevant degree in Accounting/Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and professional certifications such as CIA or CPA would be an advantage

  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior auditors
